Most Blacks in the United States have not had the opportunity to expand their family\u2019s assets over time due to discrimination and racial inequities. Understanding the history of Blacks\u2019 owning land is a key to appreciating how the racial economic gap has grown in America. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ACTEC Fellow Terrence M. Franklin<\/a> interviews author Natalie Baszile<\/a> who wrote an impressive anthology, We Are Each Other\u2019s Harvest,<\/em> detailing the historical and current problems surrounding the land loss of black farmers.
